Tales of En'Oerban Chapter I: Arimiroth
Welcome to a new AGE of role-playing.
Arimiroth is a fantasy setting that I came up with back in 2005 for a short story that I wrote for my creative writing class. Arimiroth is inspired by some of my favorite fantasy settings, and I got a lot of the inspiration for the geography from my home state of Montana. Arimiroth has a deep lore, and I enjoy expanding on it whenever I have the chance. It is one nation on a giant continent named En’Oerban. It is also sometimes refereed to as “The Darkheart Kingdom”.
I have applied the world of Arimiroth to many different mediums. I have written short stories taking place here, I have made video games (using RPG Maker VX Ace) using Arimiroth as the world setting, and now I am writing a campaign setting using the AGE system by Green Ronin in order to be played as a tabletop RPG, which is the main purpose of this page.
The AGE System
The AGE System, or Adventure Gaming Engine, developed by Green Ronin, was first used in their tabletop adaptation of Dragon Age. The Adventure Gaming Engine uses a 3D6 system for rolling attacks, skill checks, and damage rolls. It is a fairly easy system to pick up and learn, and it also has it complexity so that you do not get bored with it.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
